My time in South Carolina is winding down and I will graduate on Friday, August 18 at 9 am. Last week involved 4 days in the field of applying chaplain skills of providing care and advising leaders in different scenarios. We had to wear camouflage face paint each day and didn’t bring our phones with us, so this was the first picture I took after completing my requirements.

I also enjoyed my adventures to see South Carolina and did so on Saturday by hiking Table Rock near the North Carolina border. With two of my chaplain friends, we signed up for a trail run that we believed was 9 miles. It turned out to be nearly 11 miles! I was exhausted but appreciated the amazing views as we mercifully received water from a park ranger near the summit.
