Faith Lutheran, as a congregation, we live out our mission and vision:

MISSION: Led by the Spirit to share God's grace.

VISION:  Be the body of Christ: welcoming all, inspired by God, and sent out to live our Faith

 

In June 2021, Faith Lutheran council members participated in a synod program with other churches to explore what Faith is all about and how the congregation understands our mission and purpose. About 70 members filled out a congregational vitality assessment at the time. We scored with the highest vitality in: Spiritual Life and Worship, Outreach, and Change Readiness. Our lowest vitality was: Internal Sustainability, Context Awareness and Inclusion, and Dealing with Differences. We used that information to guide our leadership out of the pandemic with transparency and articulating our shared goals for ministry. I am filled with hope when I see how Faith has led the way since then.

 

Now, two years later, as our council prepares to articulate a 3-year strategic plan, we are sending out the assessment again. We will compare our results to the previous assessment (the questions are the same) and use the results to guide our planning.
