Many times throughout the year our Health office nurses in the Forest Lake school district have students who come into their offices and counselor’s offices hungry and unable to participate in school.  A snack to start out their day helps with stomach aches not to mention concentration and behaviors in the classroom.  Our Sunday school children are asking for your help in collecting smacks for children in our classrooms.

On Sunday, October 1st, Sunday school children will pass out “Hands” to you with snack ideas on them.  Then on Sunday, October 15th, please bring in your snacks for collection.  There will be tubs at doors #1 and #6, plus in the education wing.

Ideas of snacks:  granola bars, crackers, cereal bars, pudding cups, applesauce pouches, to name a few… gluten-free items are also needed...
