Youth

Faith Lutheran’s Youth Ministry is a place where teens experience “serious fun” as they grow in their faith in Jesus Christ. You don’t have to be a member of Faith to join—just come with an open mind and an open heart.

Confirmation At Faith

Sixth Grade Confirmation Readiness

Wednesdays, 6:30-7:30 PM

Our sixth graders begin preparing for the next step in their spiritual journey through the Confirmation Readiness class. In this time together, they explore Lutheran traditions, the Small Catechism, and what it means to live out their faith. They also reflect on the promises made on their behalf at baptism and how those promises connect to their upcoming confirmation experience.

Confirmation (Grades 7th – 9th)

Wednesdays, 6:30-7:30 PM

Confirmation, also known as the Affirmation of Baptism, gives teens the chance to personally affirm the promises made on their behalf by their sponsors—parents, guardians, and the congregation—at their baptism. The journey begins in the fall of 7th grade and continues through the fall of 9th grade. During this time, students will dive deeper into the Bible and explore how its teachings apply to everyday life, while building on their understanding of Martin Luther’s Small Catechism. The program also offers many opportunities for fellowship, service projects, and retreats.
