We had two key messages to share with the Forest Lake community with our Faith 4th of July parade float. First, we wanted to communicate that we at Faith are passionate follower of Jesus Christ. This message came through loud and clear with awesome music provided by Bill Munson, Will Much, the youth of our congregation and some of their friends too!
Our second message is that we care about the Forest Lake Community. Our headline "Your Church, Your Community" communicates that we are church outside of our building. We are church IN our community. We handed out flyers inviting the community to worship. For each flyer brought back to Faith, we donated to Forest Lake Safety Camp. This camp teaches kids in Forest Lake and beyond valuable safety lessons. We were able to donate $505. We couldn't have done it without the Dorothy Clingman mission grant.
We were honored to win the prize for best religious unit in the parade.
